So it's been a while since I submitted something. This isn't exactly done, but this is the closest it's going to get for a very long time.

This is actually a scene from chapter three of my novel, that I always wanted to see for realsies.

Notes:
-I hate backgrounds
-I REALLY hate backgrounds
-Jay ended up looking like Steven Stills. This was consciously unintentional.
-I think I'm going to stick to real paintings from now on.

Aha! Yeah. Lacey is a bitch, and Jay is somehow both jaded and misanthropic. That glare is present in nearly all of their interactions. Hah.

27He had 27 bones
in his left hand,  all under a thick netting
of coral reef.  He had  27 bones in his  right hand too,  each perfectly preserved.
Both hands held their breath
as he approached stage  exit.

Listen closely.
Hit every bar, tour every state.
A river runs interstate through Texas.
Small yellow lines jump straight through it.
Take the US-27  from Fort Wayne to Miami. A second doesn’t make it
to his destination.
